Purpose
The Product & Service Groups module is used to create and manage groups for products and services. Each group is associated with a product category and an applicable type.

Master → Product / Service Groups
Product Group List
The Product Groups page displays all available product and service groups.
Available Actions
- Add Product Group
- Search
- Copy
- CSV
- Excel
Filter Options
The page provides the following filters.
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | Dropdown filter. The visible default value is All. |
| Product Category | Dropdown filter. The visible default value is All. |
| Search (????) | Searches based on the selected filter values. |
Search
A Search box is available above the list.
Use the search box to locate a product group.
Product Group List
The list displays the following columns.

| S.No | Serial number. |
| Group Name | Name of the product group. |
| Category Name | Associated product category. |
| Applicable To | Displays whether the group is applicable to Goods or Service. |
Export Options
The following export options are available.
- Copy
- CSV
- Excel
Add Product Group
Click Add Product Group to open the Product Group creation page.
Available Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Group Name | Enter the product group name. |
| Category | Select a category from the dropdown. |
| Applicable To | Select the applicable type from the dropdown. The visible default value is Goods. |
Available Buttons
| Button | Description |

| SAVE | Saves the product group. |
| CLOSE | Closes the page without saving. |
| Product Group List | Returns to the Product Group List page. |
Workflow – Create a Product Group
Step 1
Navigate to:
Master → Product / Service Groups
Step 2
Click Add Product Group.
Step 3
Enter the Group Name.
Step 4
Select the Category.
Step 5
Select the required value in Applicable To.
Step 6
Click SAVE to create the product group.
Step 7
Click Product Group List to return to the list page.
Workflow – View Product Groups
Step 1
Open Master → Product / Service Groups.
Step 2
Use the available filters if required:
- Type
- Product Category
Step 3
Click the Search (????) button.
Step 4
Review the product group list.
Step 5
Use the Search box to locate a specific group.
Step 6
Use any of the available export options if required:
- Copy
- CSV
- Excel
