The Tasks section is used to create, view, and manage tasks.
Creating a Task
Click + Add Task to open the Create Task window.
The following fields are available:
- Task Name – Enter the name of the task.
- Task Description – Enter the task description using the available formatting options.
- Attach file – Attach a file to the task.
- Start Date – Select the task start date.
- Due Date – Select the task due date.
- Estimated Time – Enter the estimated time for completing the task.
- Project – Select the project associated with the task.
- Type – Select the task type.
- Status – Select the task status.
- Assignee – Select the employee assigned to the task.
- Priority – Select the task priority.
- Reporter (Multiple) – Select the reporter or reporters for the task.
Click Create Task to create the task or Cancel to cancel the operation.
Viewing Tasks
Created tasks are displayed in the Tasks section.
The task screen provides two viewing options:
- Table view – Displays tasks in a tabular format.
- Kanban board – Displays tasks as cards grouped on the Kanban board.
Table View
The Table view displays task details in columns:
- Task Name
- Project
- Type
- Due Date
- Priority
- Assignee
Tasks are displayed under their respective status group, such as New Task, with the number of tasks shown alongside the group name.
Kanban Board
The Kanban board displays tasks as individual task cards under their respective status group.
Each task card displays:
- Task Name
- Project
- Priority
- Assignee
The Open tasks count displays the total number of open tasks.
Searching and Filtering Tasks
The task screen provides options to search and filter tasks:
- Search Tasks – Search for a specific task.
- Group by – Group tasks based on Status.
- Project Type – Filter tasks by project type, including All.
